Processing of personal data
We only process ordinary personal data in relation to do business with you, and only to the extent of what data is needed to fulfill the purpose.
The processing of your personal data is performed in accordance with legal requirements such as:
- General data proception regulation section 6, 1 (b): In need to perform a contract, with you being part.
- General data proception regulation section 6, 1 (c): In need to comply with a legal obligation.
Sharing information
In general, we do not share your information with other companies or individuals without your consent. However, in some situations it will be necessary for us to share your information with our other East Metal divisions located within the EU. In these cases, we always make sure to process your personal data, in accordance to own guidelines on data protection and with basis of current data protection law. We may share your personal data with shipping companies, or analytic providers who act on our behalf. The purpose of sharing your personal data, is to be able to process your request, deliver a product, and to give you the best service possible.
We do not share your information with others, with the purpose of marketing or sales promotion, should this be relevant for you, we will ask for your consent. In any case, where we have asked for your consent to process, or share personal information about you, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, if you wish to do so, please contact us.
Marketing
We would like to send you newsletters with information about our products and services. We will only send you this information on behalf of your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, if you no longer wish to receive information from us, this is done by clicking the "unsubscribe" field in the received newsletter, or by contacting us at emt@eastmetal.dk
Storage of your personal data
We only keep your personal data in our database as long as the information is necessary, in accordance to fulfill the purpose, in which they are collected to. After last activity or contact with you, we will keep your personal data up to five years.
Data security
While your personal data is in our procession, we always take the necessary precautions to protect it. Which means that access to your personal data, is restricted to only a few of our employees. The employees who process your information, are subjected to follow our internal, and general guidelines in accordance to data security compliant with the data protection law. We only collect and process the amount of personal information needed, to fulfill the purpose. We always aim to take the technical precautions needed, to protect your data from accidental loss and destruction, or unauthorized access etc.
