East Metal is now ISO 9001, EN/ISO 3834-2 and EN/ISO 1090 certified, which is why we are an attractive collaborative partner when the welding of metals is required (steel, stainless steel, aluminium).

Continuous and targeted efforts to optimise our routines and working procedures means that we have increased our service level considerably. This means that we can always document the quality of the product which our customers receive.

All our employees are involved, through education and training, in achieving a better understanding of service and quality. As welding is one of our core competences, we have chosen to focus heavily on this part of production. This is due to the ever increasing demands from our customers for documentation and traceability – demands which, with these certificates, we can always accommodate.

At East Metal it is important that we tell new and existing customers that our production departments are among the best on the market. Our door is thus always open for customer visits, and a number of our customers carry out their own audits and product qualifications.

Increased focus on working environment and the company's environmental impact

We are constantly striving to develop and improve our competencies, procedures and service. This includes improving our work processes, so that we focus on safety and the working environment, and also on reducing our environmental impact. Our objective is to have a safe workplace that is also at the forefront in terms of environmental concerns. This means that we are both ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certified. 

To enhance our operational capabilities, we have successfully obtained certification in accordance with EN 15085-2 standard. This accreditation empowers us to fabricate parts and components tailored to the specific requirements of the railway industry such as traction transformers etc.
