Plasmacutting
Plasmacutting is typically used for the production of steel components (but also for a variety of other materials) for the engineering, wind turbine, infrastructure and motor vehicles (transport, agricultural and other special vehicles. Plasma cutting is used in these industries as it is one of the few methods , which can deliver accurate results in hard materials.
Plasma cutting is one of the fastest cutting processes and recognized as one of the most economical. Normally, plasma cutting is considered to be the most economical cutting process for steel up to 40 mm thick.
The cut quality is high and the thermal impact on the steel is not significant, which gives a good shape stability. Therefore, the cut materials require only a minor finish after cutting.
Internal contours and holes can be cut, and several process steps can be done by the plasma cutter
East Metal has modern plasma cutting plants, and we have the opportunity to cut into steel sheets in thicknesses up to 60 mm. Stainless steel is also cut out on the plant.
Our plant is CAD / CAM control, which provides continuous production data for documentation purposes.
Additionally, East Metal has autogen-cutting / flame cutting with drilling function as well as Lasercutting
