High Quality Transformer Tanks

East Metal was awarded an EN 15085 certification in 2019 and since then we have become a major manufacturer of tanks for transformers. 

Transformer manufacturers has realized that the outsourcing of this product reduce capital investments, steel working competences, and they avoid contamination problems in their main production of transformers.

East Metal is building up a specific production line for each customer and a designated production team will ensure a high productivity, and stable high quality. The process steps are automatic laser cutting of sheet materials, press bending, and thereafter welding stations will take over. Where appropriate, robotic welding is utilized, supervision by machine operators and welding specialist.

East Metal has full manufacturing value chain competences, and as a final step, we provide the tanks with a state-of-the-art painting system according to the customers’ requirements. East Metal can provide corrosion protection up to C5-M or X for offshore applications.
