60 m Long Production Line

Manufacturing of a 60 m long production line for manufacturing wind turbine blades.

The process line is not a straight-line construction, as the wind turbine blade is curves in order to maximize the wind energy, and therefore the construction must support this.

Synthetic fiber mats are laid down in the mold form and reactive resins are used to harden the fiber structure and to achieve favorable mechanical properties and thermal and chemical resistance.

The production line – due to the size and complexity – was followed intensively from the moment the order was signed until delivery and final installation at the end destination
